Nanosurf AG was founded in Switzerland, on 4th of June in 1997 and is a spin-off company of the University of Basel, one of the most important SPM centres of competence in the world. The company's activities concentrate on R&D and marketing whereas the production of most series parts (mechanics, electronics) is subcontracted to companies in and around Basel.
